⭐ The Texas Declaration of Independence was signed at Washington-on-the-Brazos on March 2, 1836.
⭐ Gonzales is home to the “Come and Take It” cannon – the first battle of the Texas Revolution!
⭐ The state flower, the bluebonnet, was named for its bonnet-like shape and blooms across Texas each spring.
