Description

American Late Classical, double-pedestal banquet table of highly-figured mahogany and flame mahogany veneers. The block-detailed apron surrounds a single-board top, supported by acanthus-carved vasiform pedestals joined to circular platforms extending to sabre legs which terminate in carved paw feet. This magnificent table, with two 24″ leaves, extends to 100″ and stands 29.5″ tall and 52″ wide. This important American antique dining table retains a highly polished finish with great color and patina.
